THHOR on the Road – Space Tech Expo Europe

Together with our Partners from Hamburg Space Team we attended this years Space Tech Expo in Bremen. As Europes largest B2B Space Event this is the opportunity to connnect with potential suppliers, sponsors and - of course - other student teams from the BVSR.

Opportunities like these, where we can gather insights into what’s happening across the german and european space sector, are especially valuable for a young team like us. Hamburg doesn’t have a fully developed space ecosystem (yet!), so events like this become our window into the industry we’re growing into. Being able to walk the halls, ask questions directly to subsystem manufacturers, compare notes with other student teams, and get a feel for the latest trends in hardware, launch services, and mission design is incredibly motivating.

After three packed days of learning, exploring, and networking, we left Bremen with a rush of new ideas, a stack of business cards, and a strong sense of direction for our upcoming projects. Experiences like this remind us that we’re not just building satellites — we’re building our place in the European space community

We’re already looking forward to returning next year, reconnecting with the community, and seeing how far our own projects — and the european space sector — have come.
