Stiftung Innovation in der Hochschullehre showcase

A couple of months ago, we had the pleasure of welcoming the Stiftung Innovation in der Hochschullehre to TUHH and introducing them to the work we are doing at THHOR.

THHOR as a group grew out of the EduSat project of the TUHH Smart Sensors Group, which was generously funded by the Stiftung Innovation in der Hochschullehre as part of the Freiraum 2023 program. Their support is what made this entire endeavor possible in the first place.

The mission of the Stiftung Innovation in der Hochschullehre is to strengthen and advance innovative teaching and learning formats in higher education. By supporting experimental, interdisciplinary, and student-driven projects, the Stiftung enables universities to explore new approaches to education that go beyond traditional curricula and foster hands-on learning, creativity, and responsibility. Programs like Freiraum give students the freedom to develop ambitious ideas, take ownership of complex projects, and gain experience that closely resembles real-world research and engineering work.
