Founding of Hamburg Space Team e.V.

We are thrilled to start the new year with the announcement that Hamburg Space Team is now officially a registered association, marking an important milestone in our efforts to reach space from Hamburg.

Hamburg Space Team aims to strengthen the opportunities available to students interested in space in and around Hamburg by enabling our project groups to engage with sponsors, coordinate collective outreach, and actively participate in scientific discourse.

While ongoing technical work on our rockets, satellites and sounding rocket experiments within THHOR and HALO continues, Hamburg Space Team is also in the process of obtaining non-profit status. This step aims to further strengthen cooperation with universities, research institutions, and industry partners, and to support sustainable, long-term student engagement in spaceflight-related projects.
